Susannah is a Senior Fisheries Scientist with the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in Cairns. She completed her PhD at JCU under the supervision of Prof. Garry Russ, Dr Rene Abesamis, and Prof. Michael Kingsford in 2016. She has a background in coral reef ecology, remote sensing using satellites and drones, spatial analysis, ecological modelling, and statistics. Her work focuses on informing sustainable management of Queensland’s marine resources.
