The Lizard Island Doctoral Fellowships Program

The Lizard Island Doctoral Fellowships Program provides financial support for field-intensive coral reef research at Lizard Island Research Station on the Great Barrier Reef by outstanding PhD students from any university.

The Australian Museum is pleased to announce that two Fellowships will be offered in 2007, each of up to three years’ duration. The Ian Potter Doctoral Fellowship at Lizard Island is funded by The Ian Potter Foundation. The other Lizard Island Doctoral Fellowship is funded by the Lizard Island Reef Research Foundation.

Preliminary applications are now invited for the 2007 Fellowships.  The closing date is 13 October 2006.
