Camille is originally from France, where she did all of her undergraduate and part of her graduate studies. She recently graduated from a joint MSc in Marine Environment and Resources between the University of Southampton (UK), Bordeaux (France) and Bilbao (Spain). She did her master’s project at Scripps Institution of Oceanography under the supervision of Andreas Andersson, investigating the coupling of two atmospheric-oceanographic processes (NAO and mesoscale eddies) and reef processes. She is currently doing her PhD at UWA/AIMS under the supervision of Ryan Lowe and Jessica Benthuysen, looking at the oceanographic drivers of reef connectivity off NWA. She will first be looking at the hydrodynamics of atolls off NWA and then at how atmospheric and oceanographic processes affect the sea surface temperature patterns around this region, using a combination of historical measurements, in-situ data and numerical modelling.
